September has been quite a busy month for us here at AwayTeam. Since relaunching our brand new look in June, we’ve been hard at work spreading the word about online work and how this alternative way of employment can mean the success of an entrepreneur or small business.
To kickstart the month, AwayTeam’s COO Louisa had her first radio stint as a guest on the Coffee Chat Radio Show with Lee Cummins. Lou talked about outsourcing and VAs. She also shared her own personal experiences and how having online workers has let her get her time and life back on track.

Our awesome COO again represented AwayTeam at the Deck Brighton last September 13, during the Bayside Women in Business Morning Tea event. It was a privilege to speak to a group of amazing business women who are superheroes in their own right.
Lou was able to debunk some huge myths that discourage or stop people from even considering outsourcing and offshoring. She also gave a run-down of tips and tools that the participants can use to be more efficient and systematic while working from anywhere.
One of our awesome partners, Real Tradies Wives, launched the first episode of #RealTradiesWivesTV, and we’re honored that they had Lou on as a guest. Together with founder and host Marg Lange, Lou revealed how she was turning into a business widow until she had a moment of epiphany during a holiday. And the rest, as they say, was history.

Business in Heels once again had Lou as a guest on their Facebook Live last September 14. She had the opportunity to talk about recruitment and AwayTeam’s unique process in finding the online workers for businesses. Interviewing tips to help company owners and HR staff hire the best fit were also shared to the viewers.
